What certifications should I look for when buying CBD edibles?
The cannabidiol (CBD) market is still relatively new and largely unregulated. At this time, the best things to look for are a USDA organic label on the product package and “full spectrum hemp extract” in the ingredient list. While many companies don’t bother to test their CBD edibles, there are reputable companies that take the time to test every batch to ensure quality, purity, and potency. These companies make the third-party test results available online in the form of certificates of analysis (COAs). It’s a good idea for consumers to review a product’s COA before making a purchase.
