Some Cannabis edibles benefit from being refrigerated, especially if you live in a hot, humid climate. Exposure to heat, humidity, light, and air degrades the potency of cannabinoids like THC (tetrahydrocannabinol, the psychoactive compound in cannabis), so it’s important to keep Cannabis edibles in an airtight container and store them somewhere cool, dark, and away from light and moisture. If your climate doesn’t lend itself to that, stashing your edibles in the fridge can be a good idea. Just remember to keep them out of reach of children and pets.
