How do THC drinks work?
THC drinks are made with tetrahydrocannabinol, the psychoactive compound in cannabis. THC interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system to produce effects. In THC drinks, the THC is usually broken down into tiny particles for rapid absorption. That prevents most of the THC from being absorbed in the liver, which is what happens with traditional edibles and creates a more potent experience. Effects from THC drinks tend to be milder and more consistent, with onset as quickly as 10 or 15 minutes from your first sip.
