Cannabis gummies do have expiration dates. Cannabinoids like THC, or tetrahydrocannabinol, naturally degrade with time. Exposure to light, heat, and humidity makes them degrade faster. Other ingredients, like sugars and pectin, also have a shelf life that can affect texture and flavor. Usually, cannabis gummies lose their potency after about one year, even if they aren’t expired (and especially if they haven’t been stored properly).
