Are THC beverages less potent?
THC beverages can be less potent than other cannabis products. They tend to be low dose, up to around 5mg of THC, and because they aren’t primarily metabolized in the liver, effects are milder, smoother and more predictable than effects from traditional edibles. But high dose options are also available. To enjoy the best experience, start with a low dose and sip slowly, gauging your response as effects come in. That usually happens within 30 minutes or so.
