Cannabis drinks contain THC, or tetrahydrocannabinol. Long-term and excessive use of THC can cause dependence, but it’s different from dependence on alcohol. Still, it’s important to enjoy THC in any form responsibly and in moderation to reduce the risk of building a tolerance, which means you need more THC for the same effects.
